What Are Felony DWI Offenses?

Intoxication Manslaughter: This is the most serious type of DWI offense that you could receive. Intoxication manslaughter is the act of negligently operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol that results in the death of another person.
DWI with a Minor Passenger: If a child under the age of 15 was in the vehicle at the time of the accident or arrest, you could be charged with a DWI with a child passenger. This offense is outlined in the Texas Penal Code §49.045.
